What are the dimentions of RutbagsRutbags are 25.5"X15" when empty and laying flat. Filled Rutbags are approximately 16"X10"

How much clearance/How big are Rutbags when filled?Rutbags give between 4" and 5" when full depending on position of the bags, what material is filling them and how full they are.

What can I fill Rutbags with?Rutbags were designed to fill with whatever material is available to you. Dirt and small rocks are the main filler used however they can be filled with small sticks/branches/leaf or pine litter/sand or even clothing.

How many bags are recommended for use?4 bags are recommended however depending on terrain and road conditions this will vary.

How do I clean and store Rutbags?Rutbags are recommended to be hosed off and let air dry before storage. Rutbags are made to be compact and fit easily under a seat or other storage space to be readily available when needed.

How much material should be used to fill the Rutbags?Rutbags should be filled to 7" below the top of the bags (where the Made in USA tag is located) so that the top can be folded about 3 times before tying.

what knot should I use to secure the Rutbags?The common shoelace knot is quick and easy to use and will secure the bags to allow for driving over and quick untying to empty the bags to continue on your way. The Shoelace knot may become loose after extended use and may require retying.

What are Rutbags made out of?Rutbags are made with 1050 nonrip 1050 Denier Coated Ballistic Nylon.

Will Rutbags assist with traction on slippery or muddy roads?Rutbags are not designed to assist with getting out of the mud and extended periods of spinning tires on the bags will cause the bags to melt and can damage the bags. We are currently testing other products to assist with muddy conditions however these products are not available at this time.

Who Makes the Rutbags?Rutbags are all currently all made by the owner of the company until his kids are old enough to be forced into child labor.
